At The Wandering Kitchen, we invite you to explore the beauty of the lake while taking part in Wanda’s Quest – a fun-filled adventure for the whole family! Wanda, the friendly hare from our logo, needs your help to make her way around the lake, overcoming nine mysterious creatures along the way. Each creature holds a secret letter - find them all, crack the code, and win a prize!

To join the quest, you’ll need a wristband, available inside the café along with your Wanda’s Quest sheet. Passes cost £3 per person or £5 for a family of up to four. Don’t forget to listen to the audio story that guides you through Wanda’s adventure – you can find it below!

The 2.5 km trail is mostly flat and perfect for little explorers. While it’s buggy-friendly, it can get a little muddy, so wellies are recommended for the little ones after rainy days.

 

Dog lovers, rejoice! Your four-legged friends are welcome to join the adventure, but please follow these simple rules:

Keep dogs on a lead at all times

No children or dogs in the water

Please don’t throw sticks into the lake

Take all rubbish and dog waste with you

Be mindful of speedboats operating in the area
